He loves it so far.

But it’s VERY erratic when trying to find your heart rate. It’s a nice light weight watch. I’ve had it for about 2 months and it will not consistently give me a heart rate reading. Before I start exercising, I sit still and check my heart rate. It almost always will give me a reading. However, it has NEVER given a reading while exercising. I’ve carefully followed the directions and tried subtle changes in position of the watch all to no avail. Unfortunately, I threw out the packaging after getting a resting heart rate. So now, of course, I can’t return it. My mistake. I highly discourage purchasing this item, but if you do – be sure to keep the packaging. I use it now as a timer and a reminder to be less cavalier about retaining the packaging material.

Lots of excellent features, ie count up and count down, alarm, heart rate monitor easy to use, compact, price is great.

recommended for those looking for good value in a sports watch with strapless heart monitor.

Most of the time the monitor reads an accurate heart rate. At one point on a treadmill run yesterday, it told me my HR was 46 (which was hilarious), but I rechecked it a minute later & it seemed spot on. I think it was a temporary glitch. For the price, I think it does its job.

Pros:

-Fits great

-Not too bulky

-EASY to set up and use

-Timer counts up and down

-Calculates heart rate within seconds

-NO bulky chest strap

Cons:

-Doesn’t calculate heart rate immediately (but I will sacrifice that to not have a bulky chest strap)

-Can sometimes lag in calculation while running

Overall, I love this watch. It’s just what I was looking for. I didn’t want a bulky chest strap to deal with so this cute little watch fits perfectly in my lifestyle. I highly recommend it.
