I love this watch and wear it all the time! Because it has no chest strap, I can wear it to work and then it’s right with me when I rush to the gym after my shift. If it had a chest strap, I know I would always forget it at home! I found programming the watch pretty straight forward and found the included Mio Balance booklet really helpful and full of tips. Just recently bought one for my aunt and she loved it too!

After 6 months or so, the stop watch timer won’t start (found this out at the beginning of a 5K). As a runner, losing this functionality makes the watch virtually useless to me for training and racing. The heart rate readout takes a long time to kick in, so I don’t even bother with it.

Basically, it’s now a sporty looking timepeice I sometimes wear when I’m dressed casually–not something I use to work out with, which was why I originally bought the watch.

Love this watch. I’ve been running with it for a week. It’s great. So easy to set up and use. Since there is no chest strap, you have to take your heart rate at several intervals during your workout to accurately calculate calories lost and such. But it works wonderfully.

I bought this watch for my mother in law and she loves it.

I got myself a Motiva since I like the Grey more than the Red myself.

It helps keep track of her heart rate while speed walking, and contrary to some of the other reviews it reads her heart rate just fine.

I wish I would have taken S.Lees advice. I had all the same issues and now I have to spend more for a new monitor. Definitely a disappointment.
