I ordered the blue womens model for my girlfriend for Christmas but was shipped the black mens one. It probably will work the same but instead I’m going to go through the hassles of exchanging it for what I ordered, wanted, and paid for. One of the drawbacks of ordering online. I’m pretty certain Amazon will do it without a problem.

Gave this to my wife for Christmas. It is now December 27 and we are trying to figure out how to navigate the return process. My wife liked the look of the watch, but the primary reason she wanted it was for the heart rate monitoring function, and this works in an inconsistent and unpredictable way. The HRM (heart rate monitor) would not function about half the time and then when it did provide a readout, it was very inconsistent. One moment it would give a reasonable resting heart rate of ~65 bpm, then moments later it would give a read out of 190 bpm’s, all while my wife was not moving. This one is going back.

Unfortunately, the heart monitor part of this watch didn’t work well, and wasn’t what I expected (perhaps a bit more research pre-purchase would have been in order). I expected constant monitoring, but found that the watch simply reads your pulse from a fingertip pressed against the monitoring button of the face of the watch. Readings for me varied widely (+- 10 BPM), even when taken immediately sequentially. But worst of all, my wife, for whom the watch was purchased, generally couldn’t get a reading at all – something about her fingertips I guess. We returned the watch.

I like the sports watch but it is difficult figuring out the pedometer when you are walking- the heart rate is fine. I have used easier pedometers/heart rate montors.

The Watch is a little high priced for what it does , and it doesnt do them very well. The heart rate works some times and is fairly close to what a treadmill says. It does a horrible job of tracking calories burned and is a real pain to set up. It does keep time good though.
